ENERGY NAVIGATORS ASSIST ADDISON COUNTY RESIDENTS
A more detailed explanation of the Energy Navigators program: https://www.ceacac.org/energy-navigators
We are a local program serving any resident in Addison County. Our focus is to help residents understand their options and ways that they can cut energy bills and boost their home's comfort, as well as options to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This can be assisting with short term fixes or helping to navigate potential longer term planning. This program is completely free. We know homes are complicated systems. Our approach aims to remove ‘information overload’ by providing clear information and simplified answers.
When a resident sets up a navigation, a team member (one of our 'Navigators') will come to their home. We will start with a conversation covering a lot of topics including the different ways the home is used, as well as current bills and their goals. Then we will walk through the home with the resident to get a fuller understanding of the home, its systems, etc. We will outline options tailored to their situation, and connect them with applicable incentives, rebates, and resources. The navigator will be available for clients over time as a knowledgeable consultant, for any questions - no sales, just support.
